20+ Years of RBH Jazz Camps

RBH Jazz Camps, now in its 22nd year, are hosted annually in Burlington, Vermont; Havana, Cuba; and Uzès, France. Jazz Camps are a total celebration of jazz, offering intensive learning and skill-building while fostering relationships key to the art form. Our daily workshops in Jazz, Latin Jazz, and Samba Jazz are facilitated by some of New York’s most highly regarded performers and educators, and cover improvisation and harmony; Latin percussion; vocal and instrumental technique; and jam sessions (both for fun and performance readiness). To conclude the week, students will host a final performance alongside faculty in celebration of their hard-earned work.

Each RBH Jazz Camp also offers daily outings to nearby sites and attractions. Jazz Camps are known for their “work hard, play hard” energy, pairing rigorous skill-building with ample opportunities to interact with local communities and their musical traditions. It’s the perfect match of learning and leisure, designed for musicians from all musical backgrounds and walks of life.
